A calmer way to plan your next week

One clear goal is easier to budget than six upgrades competing for the same inventory.

Choose an outcome you can describe

Start with a practical sentence: “I want this hero at the next target level,” or “I want the Castle ready for its next upgrade.” Avoid choosing several goals just because their buttons are available.

This is an Top Lords Wiki planning method, not an official event strategy. Its purpose is to make your costs and trade-offs visible before you commit.

Separate the upgrade from everything that enables it

Run the relevant planner, then list prerequisites separately. The Castle and research totals in this site do not automatically include the cost of all required buildings or earlier technologies.

Treat additional material IDs and secondary resources as real budget lines. A large Wood balance does not replace Beast Cores, hero shards or a special research item.

Use the inventory you have, not the rewards you hope for

Enter resources already available to you. Put unclaimed or uncertain rewards in a separate note so they do not make a plan look funded when it is not.

Review the plan after a meaningful reward, a changed requirement or a new in-game event—not every few minutes. A saved plan is useful only when it stays close to your actual progress.

Your five-line planning note

  • Goal: one upgrade or clearly defined batch.
  • Required: the planner total plus separately priced prerequisites.
  • Owned: available inventory and completed prerequisite levels.
  • Gap: what is still missing, with each resource listed separately.
  • Next action: one achievable step toward that gap.

Check before you spend
